Graduate Student (Writing and Research)

As a student of social science, I like observing and learning from socio-political contexts on the ground and recently developed interest in Nepal's federalization process. I have had different jobs mainly assisting research activities as parts of which I have travelled to significant parts of Nepal's south and west providing me a much-needed exposure. As a member of Raithane that aims at studying and promoting folk music culture and the artists whose livelihood depend on the art forms, I look at opportunities to interact with the artists.

I find joy in reading, reflecting and discussing with peers the contemporary socio-political history of Nepal. During leisure, I can be found watching films, cycling or playing football.

I am very hopeful that this rigorous course will provide me a wide research lens for the future and to relate to the very scattered bits and pieces of the little I have learnt so far.
