Richa is the founder of an initiative called Udeshya: Girls in STEM, designed to show that girls can dream higher. She joined the writing program at the Open Institute so that she can be a better researcher who understands the people benefitting from her projects. She is interested in policy and gender. She was a Teach for Nepal Fellow in Sindhupalchok from 2016 to 2018.
