Sarita Thapa has done MA Degree in Anthropology from Tribhuvan University in 2015. She had done research in jalhari community of Kaski district in order to write thesis as part of the degree program. She is currently interested to broaden the field, and aims to learn the knowledge practices of the Jalhari community to manage resources in various cultural and ecological diversities from Anthropological perspective.

Thapa has sound experience in implementing social science research. Before joining Open Institute, she was engaged with few research projects where her key responsibility were to conduct field visit, take interview and work with research team to analyse the data.

She applied to Research and Writing course as she wants to enhance analytical, reading, writing and research skills.
